I want to get as smooth a ride as possible via non-RFs on a 15" OEM wheel and I'm looking for manufacturer/size recommendations, as well as tires to avoid at all costs.

Edited to clarify:  I need tire recs...already have nekkid wheels.

The only examples of Koenig Rewinds that I'm finding are wheels...I need tire recs since I have nekkid wheels.

Erika... after intense homework, I think you'll be completely satisfied with the General Exclaim UHP.  It has a good treadwear rating, it's quiet, comfortable, lighter than most tires, excellent in the rain, and it's extremely inexpensive.  Buy them either on tirerack, or from White Tire here in Norfolk for a few dollars more than Tirerack (with their shipping price in account).

I can say avoid tires that are 205/65/15 or larger.  even though they gave a very good ride and are the size i use for the Mooneyes hubcapped rimis.  There is to much Cubic inches vs the wieght of the car and has cause a bit more Hydro planeing than i like.  pretty much any 205/50-60/ 15  will be a good size for comfort .  But the question come to Performance..

If Performance isn't the main issue, A tire like the Falken Ziex-512 which is an all season tire. The handeling is good for normal non-spirted driving, Its quiet and absorbs the bumps very well. Also they're Cheap too and lasts for a long long time. Other tires in this catagory (15") i've tried were Coopers, Brickstones (Pun intended), Firestone, Nanking and Generals.

IF performance is the other quality you want. Then for me so far there are only 3 choices. The Falken Anzies 615, Hankook RS2 (212) and the Donlop M901. These tire are the extreme for everyday performance before going to what is called R' Compounds or Race Rubber. These tires have a wear rating of 200 and if im not rotating the tires i will wear out the fronts within 10,000 miles or one year.  compared to the Zeix 512 which currently has 20k miles on them and still have over 50% tread left.

If wondering I have Never ran a set of Goodyear tires. Don't know why just never did. So i can't comment on them
