Hope to see it and you at the Pride Run.
I too have driven the Autobahns of what was W. Germany and must say, the driving there is unlike anywhere else (and I don't just mean speed). Title: Ventidue Post by: Ventidue on August 07, 2007, 07:11:43 PM Thanks!
I was impressed by how smooth the roads were, and how wide they were. A definate contrast to Italy, and even superior to the US. Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: BigRed33 on October 10, 2007, 01:04:29 PM Ventidue, were you stationed in Italy? Amanda & I are moving there in december and wondered if you knew how to get us intouch with the clubs over there... thanks TIM!
Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: Ventidue on October 10, 2007, 02:01:08 PM We were in Italy for 5 years. The best way to get in touch is look on www.MINI2.com since that is an international forum. I used to run the Aviano MINI Owner's Klub, but it started falling apart about a year before I left. Lots of good MINI owners in Europe. PM me if you need other details!
Happy Motoring! Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: BigRed33 on October 10, 2007, 03:33:40 PM Thanks For the Info, i will check that out. and we will keep in touch...
Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: NOCIVIC on May 16, 2008, 03:19:35 PM I just moved back to Yorktown after three years down in FL. I saw you one day awhile back but you were going the other way. I truly like the look of your mini and would like to know if you would like to get together sometime so I could have a better look at your MINI..
Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: Ventidue on May 17, 2008, 12:21:28 AM We should be able to arrange something. Hopefully my work schedule will allow me to come out to the meets sometime soon. You are only the 6th person I have seen with our kit so far, and everyone has chosen a different method of matching up parts and colors.
Welcome to HRMINI! Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: NOCIVIC on May 17, 2008, 06:36:10 AM Very cool, I saw you on rt. 17 and I live just up the road in Grafton of rt.17 so we'll have to plan sometime to get together. I'll be attending a show in DC next month if your interested in things like that.
Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: Ventidue on May 17, 2008, 09:55:33 AM We are not that far apart. We live near CNU. When is the last time we did a Cold Stone run?
Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: JumpingJackFlash on May 18, 2008, 11:08:27 PM You two should have a local meet on this side of the water. I live up in the Denbigh area. I'd like to come by to see the kits on your Minis.
Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: Ventidue on May 19, 2008, 12:31:04 AM Last year we were meeting at the Cold Stone near Bass Pro, but it sounds like we are all north of that area.
Maybe a Haagen-Dazs run in due. I am pretty sure there is one near Smoky Bones on Jefferson. Title: Re: Ventidue Post by: NOCIVIC on May 19, 2008, 11:36:05 AM Well, hey I'm down for anything. Just let me know. Here is my cell # 869-1127 Just ask for John..
