Title: Rant on a Stealership
Post by: Batman228 on February 18, 2008, 07:48:49 PM
Ok, I know it is out of the area for some of yall. But Century MINI in Greenville, SC, well I wouldn't go there. I have called there and gotten a lack of customer service from their Service Dept. Calling for parts..... For instance, I ahve called up there to get a replacement HID Bulb, $215, and it will take a week to get it. Then I called back to get them to change it. Can you bring it in today? I know a few folks who have went there for parts and had similar issues. One person wanted the 4 creature comfort packages, and the closest they had had was three. They wouldn't order or try to find another dealership that had what they wanted. Just my rant of the day. Oh yeah, the roads in SC are getting attrocious. One cracked rim, two mushroomed strut towers, a busted shock, and a mangled tierod later, I am glad I am leaving this state.

Sorry to hear about another :103: dealership that seems to have customer service issues.

Roads?  :017: Want to talk about roads?  I almost lost :103: my Mini in a huge  pot hole on I264 about a week ago.  I thought I was going to fall in :100: and never be found  :022: again.

ETA to Ft. Monroe is as soon as orders are cut. I am slightly impatient and hoping to be up there ASAP. I cant stand the area I am living in any more.

Sorry to hear about he dealership there.  My uncle lives in Greenville, SC, and we go there a couple of times a year to visit.  I stopped by the dealership and chatted with a couple of the salesmen.  They seemed OK.  But I never went to the service department.

Yes, some of the roads in Greenville need repair.  But you will wish you went back when you arrive hear, I am sorry to say.  The highways in Hampton Roads are atrocious.  I have lived her all my life, and I can tell you with certainty VDOT and the localities fall very short on highway repair.  If that is not enough, the traffic will make you rip your hair out.

Hmm... sounds like we all need more road trips away from the city.   :023:

I won't argue about the traffic here. Theres plenty.
As for the condition of the roads, yeah they could be better.
I lived a good many years up north, and can tell you this.
The roads are AWFUL. The weather is a big cause of it.
Traffic ain't so bad, as the economies in some of those northern areas are so bad, nobody has a reason to be on the roads.
That being said, I'm happy to be here, traffic, roads, lunatic drivers and all.  :023:
