Title: Way Motor Works and Texas Speedwerks
Post by: maacodale on July 19, 2010, 09:50:56 PM
In case you hadn't heard the folks at  Texas Speedwerks had closed their doors and sold the equipment, inventory and most everything else. It was announced that it was to someone already in the MINI community. I've always heard good things about TSW, and was told if I were going to buy a lug stud kit, it had to be theirs!

Well, today I found out the our ol' buddy Way from Way Motor Works was the purchaser of Texas Speedwerks. I think I can safely say, if anyone was worried about the level of customer service being upheld, rest assured, things should be status quo. All my dealing with Way were excellent. Out of all the entities that could have bought out TSW, Way is one of the best!

Congrats Way!

Here is the official announcement on TSW's website http://www.txwerks.com/servlet/StoreFront (http://www.txwerks.com/servlet/StoreFront)  :023:

I met Way at MOTD this year and he is very easy to work with. I had him install a pulley on my supercharger and I was extremely pleased on his workmanship / speed of the install  :026:

Good news. I had some real shipping issues with TSW through the transition. Glad there is someone to stand behind all the suspension pieces I bought from them.

Was is a good guy and a good guy to do business with. I'd recommend him.
