Seems like so much of my family is far away. Anyone have the same issue? Or maybe you don't feel like doing the big cooking thing.
I was thinking of opening my home to a pot luck Thanksgiving. Just a day of lazy tv watching and warming up food to share with friends old and new. Would anyone be interested? Or does everyone have plans?

I think they liked us there. We did get alot of attention! I would like to try out the Doodle Donuts in Suffolk as well. I've heard some rave reviews about that place as well. Google maps show a photo of the place and the parking lot is quite large. Perhaps next month we will try that one out.

Join HR MINI for a dinner at Hibachi Grill and Buffet. The entire buffet and drink run about $10.00 per person. I ate there a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the size of the buffet. Hibachi grill is available, ice cream station, sushi, plus all the traditional chinese/japanese type foods.
There will also be a Gold Party going on. What is a Gold Party you ask? It is an individual who will buy your gold, silver, and platinum from you while you are there. You can pay for your dinner and get some Christmas gift spending money while you are there. THERE IS NOTHING TO BUY. Just bring in your old wedding bands, school rings, earring backs, broken items, unwanted items, old watches, unwanted silverware. Don't worry about mixing some costume jewlery in there, the dealer will test all pieces and pay you cash.
