Hey all Richmond is calling for some mad thunderstorms and rain Friday and sat is the event still on if there is rain
We be the MINIs who planned a FALL COLOURS run and woke up to 5" of SNOW .. we waited for the roads to clear a bit and then headed on our way .. probably had the best Fall Colours Run I've ever attended (#3 .. tho the surprise wedding last year, for the romantic in me, rated right up there, too :-)
The NC contingent is staying at the OMNI hotel in Newport News .. I believe the "group" hotels are between the OMNI and the Yorktown parking deck/meeting point, yes? I am thinking we may join up with you at one of the group hotels to caravan to Yorktown, or we can go on our own and just meet you there at 9 (there will be 6 MINIs) .. what time are you planning to depart the hotel on Saturday AM?

Susan is right ! The last Fall Colors Run on Halloween weekend was a BLAST ! I think the unexpected snow made it just that much more fun, and the scenery was beautiful.
A little rain will not stop this event or the fun ! Just remember to pack an umbrella, just in case.
The NC group will have an easy run to Yorktown on Sat. morning. Just head north on Rt. 17. You can't miss it. See you soon.
