Doh..... Well hope your feeling better by the morning!  023 Even though I would play it off to keep me from going back to FRC for another day or so. hehe...

Well went to Checkered Flag today and ordered a new switch. The part was $83 and will arrive on Wednesday. So i am at ease now.  069

Man, that sucks.  Only suggestion I can make is to search E-Bay.  There are several switch units available.  Use the keywords "mini cooper switch."

Not what I was looking for though. This was... "http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=MM33&mospid=50627&btnr=61_2132&hg=61&fg=35&hl=14".

Sport mode? What's that. I just drive as if I had one.
Yeh....but it's just not the same.  icon_neutral

This is like death without sport mode. I use it all the time. I saw on NAM there is a kit being sold for a "Always On" to tap in with. Gonna have to hit that up for sure after I get the replacement piece.

Or do like me and Krylon the pieces followed by a Clear Coat. I used Krylon Fusion in gloss black, and used Krylon Clear coat. So far the pieces have lasted close to 2 months now in the elements and such. Not bad for a product designed more specific for lawn chairs instead of a daily driver going 60+mph in the rain and road pebbles and fly's,etc...   044

Well I was happily wiring up LED strips inside my Coopie today. And came down to dremeling a square piece out under my rocker switch in the console..... When the damnedest thing happened. I dremel'd into my switch assembly circuit board for the sport/DSC buttons located under the console. Can you say..... S***!!!!! Well I put the Cup holder piece back in after taking the switch assembly out. My rocker switch for the LED strips is located between the cup holders center line with Lighter. Well I found the part number which is "61303422722" and there is nowhere to buy it online except from Russia...but I cannot understand the site. But managed to convert the currency and found that it costs $50. Not a huge hit....I was expecting more. I am just glad I did not hit the Molex connection harness. So gonna hit up Checkered Flag tomorrow and get the part on order and get everything squared away. But the lights look nice. I will post pictures after everything is said and done lol. Yeh I am P*ssed.. but still laughing at how stupid I was not to check and see what was there.  076  075

Now what am I going to do this week without sport mode????  icon_eek

It's cool an all.... But I myself would wait a few years until the kinks....if any...are worked out in later models. Cause I am crazy enough to get one.  023

Would like to see him drive that in the Hampton Roads area... All it would take is 264/64 highways for him to put the old springs back on...  045

It's nice though...

This video is great. Good info. I am not gonna explain it... But if you have an hour and 30 minutes to sit down in front of your computer to see this. I suggest you do! Good info in this video....it makes you really think about what we as people are doing to this planet. Without the politics that alot of us don't listen to.  023
