Thanks to Dale and Regina for organizing a excellent weekend.  023 I'm sure there was much more time put into this than we can guess and it sure paid off. 045 From the high quality and designed shirts/hoodies, very nice Highland Inn stay and dinners, to the interesting and fun well planned routes we all traveled 044 together.  This was one of the best organized events I've attended.  038 Thank you to all who had their hand in making this weekend a very rememberable MINI experience.  023

I'm sharing most of my photos for those who didn't have a camera.  Enjoy and copy what you'd like...

I have many miles of video to sort through.  105  Bill was having trouble with it last night so I'll give it a shot and post later.

Leaving out  044 in about an hour or so. 038  I caught a traffic report that there's a truck turned over at the Williamsburg business exit that has things backed up.  icon_frown  We plan on just taking our time heading out and stopping whenever something catches our eye.  Everyone have a spirited and safe ride out.

Dale, thank you 023 again for putting so much time into planning out this weekend.  038 Rain or shine I think we will all have a fun filled weekend 044 with good friends.  023

During our evenings we may get a small view of the Orionid meteor showers.  038  Sounds like it peaks towards the early morning hours but there were many reports throughout the night time hours.  We'll be catching the tail end of it but we may catch a little show being away from the big city lights. 045

Excellent catch!!!  045

It's really neat moving the camera along the line of cars and checking them all out.  045
65  Welcome To Hampton Roads MiNi! / Everything MINI / Re: We now have HR MINI "spotted" cards!!!! on: October 15, 2009, 03:39:25 PM
It would look perfectly normal for someone driving a VW to put these cards on MINIs, right...?  Hehe.   044 044

 045
Why not? 017  I've been known to wave  039 like a wild woman at on coming Mini/MINIs from the drivers seat of the hubby's Shelby GT500.  I'm sure 045 that goes over with a deep head 017 scratch.  Hubby always gets a kick out of trying to explain to me that I'm in the wrong  018 car for that kind of behavior.  Hey, I wave at the Mustangs too, but they are really bad  icon_sad at returning waves.

Dale, this was a great idea to get some more attendance in our events. 045 Please bring some cards with you to the Fall Run.  I'd surely be interested in getting some.  I usually catch folks while running around town.  We talk, but I'm sure most forget about the information we discussed.  With a card there's that little extra reminder.  045

Humm, I wonder 045 what's going on around the house 096 this morning while Dad's at work?  077

There's a silver lining to each and every story.  045  At least you only woke up to it.  I spent the night in the living room on the sofa holding my little sweet heart.  We made several trips outside throughout the night.  Oh, and while walking around the darker than dark backyard with her there was our friendly owl somewhere around having himself a  :103:hoot-hoot 103 of a noisy party.  She's a bit better so far today, but it took a lot out of her.  We ran her up to the 24 hour ER vet last night.  There was a three to four hour wait just to be seen. icon_cry I figured she'd be more comfortable here at home than in a waiting room full of other dogs looking  119 at her as if she were an over sized dinner 110 item.  I knew if she took a turn for the worst I could run her up there in the middle of the night to early morning and hopefully miss the crowd.  I haven't had to make a return trip thus far.  I'm still crossing my fingers and toes.  I think I've actually slept maybe eight hours in the last 48.  icon_frown

We are dealing with a sick little pup as of last night.  icon_sad I'll have to see how today goes on her recooping efforts.  I really need this get-a-way after sleeping on the couch last night with my furr baby.

I'm surely locked in now.  023

I just emailed Dale a big ol shirt, sweat shirt, and hoodie order.  By the way, thanks  023 for including the hoodies as requested in my earlier post.  The sweat shirts were a nice extra also. 045 The designs are excellent.  038 Geez, I'm kind of liking that the red car made the shirt in a big way.  THANKS!!!  023 I don't think I have many club shirts with my choice in car colors.

Off to check out that post listing some driving options.  023

Geez, I must be really hard core.  045 It's Spic & Span for the Mini 103 and those big ol wire cutters in the Hubby's tool box for the dog's nails.

icon_lol icon_lol Joking 045 on both accounts.  Shelby Jr. (the car) and both dogs are spoiled to the highest degree.  045

Sounds like someone had an exciting fun filled weekend.  045

You should have video taped the Newbie bath situation. 045 It may have made excellent entertainment  PopcornEmoticon for the next club gathering.  003
