Hampton Roads Club Mini

Went over to Portsmouth earlier to run an errand.  Temperature tied 111 degrees at one point, but it mainly stayed around 105-106 while driving on the interstate.

Taken driving west down Jefferson Avenue between Oyster Point Road and Denbigh Boulevard.  I spent little time at each stop light, but just long enough to snap these shots.

OK, you went the wrong way with that one.      I meant price quoted was probably without shipping included.  Geez...

OK, I realize this is a really old thread, but I had this problem occur tonight.  I filled up at the gas station around the corner.  Started my MINI, and the gauge read empty, red low-level light lit, and "miles to empty" showed "---."  Info on NAM is kinda sparse, but a couple of other forum posts hinted at the fuel level sensor going bad (there is one in each of the two tank halves).  I was just about to schedule an appointment when something told me to just jump in and take a late night drive.  I drove up to Exit 238, got off the interstate, went up the street to a parking lot, and cut my MINI off.  Started it back up, needle came right to the full mark.  Drove home, cut it off, then turned the key back to the starting position.  Needle came back to full mark again.

I will keep an eye on this, but I'm currently treating the problem as a fluke.

We can always opt to take Route 10.  It is a bit slower but more scenic.  You can either cut over to U.S. 460 via Route 625 (Hines Road) around Disputanta or take 10 all the way to Hopewell and take Route 36 southward.  If this route is chosen, a good meeting place would be the Smithfield Plaza Shopping Center.

Welcome aboard, Sam.  Glad you enjoyed the drive to the Outer Banks.  Make events when you can.

Good to hear, Dale.      My mind's stuck on here for temps, and they said 95 degrees.  Last two years were a bakeout.  This is a welcomed change.   

I know the market is dry right now, but this is one sharp MINI.  Completely stock.  Has ~50K miles and is priced at $15.5K.  Pass the word along if you know anyone that's looking.

You have a point there, Dale.  Funny thing is my bro and I go to the one up the street on Fridays and NEVER wait to get in.
