Yes, they are.  The alternate site I listed in the initial post (Gear Jammin) is the only one that has them now.  They also list the same product on E-Bay.

The e-mail said the tail lights were no longer available.  It was really frustrating being told that considering they were still listed on the website, especially after postponing my purchase for some time for other reasons.  I replied with another e-mail to get some clarification, but I don't really think it's going to go anywhere.

It is with a sad heart I must say I am no longer willing to shop at MOSS MINI.  On three separate "consecutive" occasions in the past, I made purchases during a period when they had their 15% off coupon.  On ALL of those occasions, MOSS MINI conveniently forgot to apply the code.  Or maybe their online purchasing system just stinks.  In either case, I had to call their support after the fact to get that amount of money rebated to me.

Today's purchase attempt/failure was the final straw.  MOSS currently has the LED tail lights listed for $170.  So, I finally broke down and submitted my purchase yesterday.  Well, today I get an e-mail telling me they are no longer available.  Really??   104  So, why then would MOSS MINI keep the option listed on their website?

Well, after some digging, I found the exact same LED tail lights at Gear-Jammin, albeit a little higher at $225.  So, I replied to the cancellation purchase e-mail and said, "That's funny... they look like they're available to me."  So, what is it then?   017

Guess I will just spend my hard-earned $$$ elsewhere.

Those codes don't make any sense.  According to this list of fault codes, 2771, 2772, and 2773 are four-wheel drive issues.  Search the list for "misfire" to see all the ones that are related.

The first thing that comes to mind is the carbon buildup issue that can occur on the 2007+ turbo models.  If that's all that is needed, it should not cost you too much.  If the shop does in fact discover your issue is related to recent repairs, my best advice is to discontinue posting information here until you can get it resolved with the shop up there and Atlantic Autowerks at a private level.

Sorry to hear the leaves are already falling out that way.  I was going to post this article saying there is supposed to be the potential for a great fall color change this year.

How interesting is that!  I drive down NC Rt. 46 when I go to Wilson, NC.  Never knew the track was near there.   icon_eek

Yes, it's only a two hour drive to that track, as I can get to Wilson, NC from my house in just over three hours.  The route I take is more enjoyable.  Here's a Google Maps link that lays out the roads.

According to Mini Mania, M12x1.5 pattern bolts are good up until 7/11/2006 production MINIs.  Everything after that would be M14x1.25.

If memory serves, there is a recall on the timing chain tensioner (a.k.a. cold start rattle) for 2nd-gen MINIs.  Go here for more information.  Scroll down a little ways for the related article.

Tina, Ashley, and I had a great time despite the weather.  And, yes, I was as much surprised that 22 MINIs showed up.   icon_cool

I won't  be making this run.  It will be the last full day Tina and Ashley will be in town, and we doing a family day with the mutual friends that introduced us.  I hope you all have a great time, weather permitting and all.

Sorry, I have to cancel.  Tina and I will be giving Brian and Melanie a break by babysitting so they can go out an have a night to themselves. A way of saying thanks for being good hosts while Tina and Ashley are visiting.   001

You have a good time.

Many people make fun of WV, but it has alot to offer with its roads, mountains and other scenery.  Whenever I travel north to Wisconsin, I prefer the I-64/US35 route that goes through VA/WV/OH as opposed to the I70/76 route that goes through VA/PA/OH.
