I like how steady the camera remained going over the railroad tracks. Watch the up and down movement in the front wheel. That's pretty cool.

Howard Collins, a.k.a BIMINI on this site, set up the whole thing. He would be the person to ask, as he has some pretty good mapping skills. All I did was follow along an enjoy the bejesus out of it all.

Well if MAACO won't get off his butt, I'd be honored to help out soon as it get's here. Keep me posted, we could probably get a fair amount of rustproofing, undercoating and maybe even some interior paint work done at Cooper Tune. I'd like to use a paint booth for the official coloring. Maybe Dale could provide one ? Have you a color scheme in the back of your mind?

A whole new shell sounds as if you found some serious structural rot. Some pictures of this bad news would be worth a look. From what I understand, a new shell with dollar to pound conversion is roughly $8K. Am I on the right track, or have they gone up since? I also heard that Heritage is looking into pressing a Mk1 shell soon too. Might be worth the wait.

Grease Pits / Wheels and Tires / Re: Wheel/TPMS questions

The first gen TPMS is actually located on the car and not in the wheel like so many are. That will allow for TPMS to work regardless of wheel style. Even if you opt to go away from run flats. If they put the sensor in the wheel on second gen cars, that would be fairly easy to handle as well, just be sure you purchase a wheel that allows for TPMS to be either mounted valve stem style, or the older band that wraps around the entire wheel itself.
Hope this helps.
