[ Yep, in a moderate sort of way. The finish yesterday was awesome, even if I only saw it on tape. :D[/quote] :smt043 The Missus thinks the next pace car should be a MINI! I tried to explain to her that it wasn't very likelyto happen but if anybody out there should have an "IN" with Mr. George, who knows!!!

Indy Blue will be available, but only on model years 2004 and down. That's the year it was discontinued. :(
I'm still in mourning over silk green. :sadtears:  As I've said before, I am a Painter of automobiles and a darn good one I might add. So any color you want is possible. It may not be "numbers matching" but how many MOD MINIs are? Anyway, if anyone reading is interested PM me anytime. ;-)

Don, you are a man of distinction!! Were you able to tell that the minute you walked in the joint? :P :P By the way, I have it on very good authority that the fastest color is Indy Blue. It is, after all, named for one of the fastest race courses in the world. And, yes, I waited until today to post this. ;) ;) :smt049 R-U an Indy 500 Fan? If so, welcome to a rather small world here in good ol boy country!!! I'm probably in a very small group of hardcore fans myself having gotten bitten by the INDY bug back in "69". That's right, the very same year Mario Andretti won his only 500. And by the way, when I get a second MINI, if Indy Blue is still available by then, well, need I say more? :D

I guess I'll start it then.
A knowledgeable MINI owner should know that we are not "grey" but in fact "Dark Silver Metallic", the most elegant of all MINI color choices!!!   :smt017 Elegant perhaps, but Jet Black will always be "CLASSIC" just ask Jason!

 How about a bumper sticker for club members who love the Python Gang that says simply "I FART IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION" or perhaps "I BLOW MY NOSE AT YOU". Bodily functions are almost a prerequisite to being a Python fan Ya know. :smt031

:( Sorry to hear about the delays with your service. If I'm not mistaken, at CF, if you schedule a week or two ahead, they'll promise a MINI loaner. If however you are taken by surprise and you can't give that kind of notice, you'll probably get a Toyota! ;-)

It's located in West Point and the asking price is around $5K. Sorry I don't have the telephone number, but check the paper anyway and give it a look. If you have any trouble getting the ohone no. :x Humbug I say. I've already dropped an e-mail to Susan about letting us in on a MINI day and if I'm the only one interested in something as sweet as this, then I'll convoy to Kings Dominion all by myself!!! Now that that's said...lets not give up so easily. Just imagine the shear number of MINIs that could be motoring down/up I95 all @ the same time...HUNDREDS,THOUSANDS, goodness knows the possibilities. :smt003

 Not that I ever plan on letting go of my MCSa, but I can tell you from experience, resale value seems to be a good deal better on a smoke free car. Afterall, who wants to drive around in a 2 ton ashtray
