All the more incentive for HomerJ to help us find a house!

I know about the hurricanes, but I do not know if my wife has made the connection. I guess I pretty much just have to hope for the best.

Isabel hit there in 2003. How much was actually under water? Did most of the houses get flooded? Good thing I can't afford a house directly on the beach!

I am looking forward to becoming an active participant. I ran the club here: Aviano MINI Owners Klub (Run...AMOK). The turnover rate here is so high that it was hard to keep it together after the second year though. My wife and I are excited about the Strawberry Festival next year - as well as the Dragon!

We participated in a number of HUGE events here. We were at International New MINI Meet 2004 in Switzerland and made it into MINI International magazine (Issue #3, pg 65), we made two trips to Monza in Milan for the British/Italian car show and got out on the track for an hour, and we were at MINI United 2005 in Misano, Italy.

We are going to look into shipping some wine back - but that costs a good bit, so we will see.

My wife knows how to make GREAT Italian coffee. We also have a bunch of recipies, so there will be Italian food once we get settled in!

I am moving into the area and will be purchasing a house. Any recommendations on where to look or where to avoid would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! I just found out I will be moving to the area in September. I live in Italy right now and will be bringing my 2003 MCS. Looking forward to joining an active club in the US!
