Hi All,

My name's Jenn and I drive Peanut, '03 EB/W. My boyfriend, Marty, and I are moving out your way in a coupla weeks from Sunny San Diego. We've been very active in our local San Dog club, West Coast MINIs, and we can't wait to continue the MINI adventure on the east coast! (We met through the club almost two years ago.) We should be arriving in town around June 21st. We've got a rental home in VA Beach until we find a house... and I find a job. :smt069  (Know anybody looking for a Graphic Designer / Production Artist?)

BTW, Jimskater is a good friend of ours, and it's nice to see him here, too. (Jim, where AREN'T you in the MINI world???  :smt108 )  That's Ollie Sr. in my sigpic - the yellow Cooper in the trio. The pic was taken on the way home from AMVIV I.

See all of you soon!

Jenn,

I'm not a member of MINI2.de, MINI2.be, MINI.au.....    :P

That is Ollie Sr...   before his new shoes were installed.  Lil Ollie, the Cooper that could!   :D

Just make sure that they're nice to you out there--or your ex-MINI-husband may have to come east to kick ass & take names.   119  :P

(I'm kidding folks, seriously.)  ;) :P

Sherry, it sounds wonderfully familiar! The club we're leaving, West Coast MINIs, is just like that!

That sounds like fun! But I'm starting to get the feeling that expectations may become higher than reality... please everyone, keep low expectations! :smt064 That way, if we exceed them, everyone will be happy!  :smt003

Trish, ZipZip, thanks for the warm welcomes!

Jim, you know once we get settled that you and Steven will be expected for a visit. Just don't tell Steven that you'll be flying GP Express!  :smt118  On second thought, maybe you should send him on Useless Air or something while you drive...     :smt023

Hey All,
Thanks for the warm welcomes.  Jenn and I should be rollin in to Virginia Beach round about the 20th of June.  We've got to be in town then to recieve our household goods.  We will be driving my MINI (The Taz)
I was just back there this past week for some work and to secure our rental.  I gotta get used to driving at more normal speeds and not getting the use of a radar detector.  Not that I race around everywhere, just kinda fudge the speed limit by 10mph or so on the freeways :D .  By the way I was really liking the weather back there right up until I walked out of the office about noon on Thursday (25th) Bam! where'd all that heat and humidity come from so quick?!?
Again, we are both really looking forward to meeting new folks and exploring the Right coast via the best mode of exploration available...a MINI and MINI Club.

i like the idea of another meet and greet/drive.  especially if we can schedule around a lunch at sonic (like usual).  heck, even if its not lunchtime i'll probably eat something.

does this mean we have three or four new active members headed our way soon?  can't wait to have you guys!

Glad to be a member of this fine loose organization.  Back from the cross country trip and ready to participate when we are in town.  PC crashed while on road, so am thankful for Sherrie coming to the rescue witrh addresses, etc.  Phyllis & I have a 06 Silver S Convertible that performed valiantly for 10,000 miles during the month of August and early September.
