I had the opportunity to meet David Pallister of DP Motorwerks , 757-431-4423.  He is a Mini Certified Technician who has extensive experience with BMW / Mini.  Here is his website: http://www.dpmotorwerks.com/index.htm

I think some of you may know him as he hinted to installing an aftermarket rear sway bar for one of our people because CF wouldn't do it.

He is a really nice guy and is eager to help out our members.  You may want to check him out if you want aftermarket parts put and don't have the ability to DIY or if your Mini is out of warranty as his labor rates are about half of CF. 119

David shares his shop with the gentleman who is working on our new graphics / grille badges / window clings, Steve Pucket, Custom Graphics, http://www.custom-graphics.org 757-581-9547.  Steve is very excited about getting involved with our club.  He is currently working on window clings & grille badges (which I will post upon completion of design draw-up).

I think some of you may him as well as he has done custom bonnet stripes for a couple Mini's.  Yes, that's right!  Custom Bonnet Stripes!!! :smt026

There is no job to big or small for Steve.  He is currently working on some checkered flag graphics for Chester.  He does any kind of custom work you are looking for just give him a call and let him what you want.  I've seen some of his work and it is amazing!  I have asked him to email me some pics of previous jobs; I will post these upon receipt.

Make sure you let these guys know you're with HR Mini when you contact them.  Hope this helps some of you out!

Great info... I suggest we post this in the vendors section however!  I'm in the market for hood stripes myself finally... so I'll be sure to give this guy a shot.

Just wanted to say Dave @ DP is awesome to work with....When CF told me I had to cough up $900.00 for a "leaking control arm bushing and an exhaust gasket" I called him...we looked and never found the "leaking bushing" however we did find the exhaust flange nuts to be loose. After he tightened them I was on my way FOR FREE. I have since had him install a 22mm sway bar and some other minor upgrades. His prices are AWESOME. To be brutally honest, I will have my car tow'd to Richmond if in the unlikely event I need a dealer. I have never had a good experience with CF. After 4 tries for various issues I feel like I gave CF an honest chance....sorry just felt like venting
