Well, I'm going to glom onto Ben's "New Wheels/Tires" thread as well!  (sorry, Ben)

I just ordered my autocross wheels & tires tonight.  They're supposed to ship within 48 hours, so even coming from California, I hope to have them by the first ACU event on the 15th.

Went with the Konig "Helium" in silver (15" X 6.5", 10.8 pounds each), and the Falken Azeni RT-615 in 205/50-15.  I'll post pictures as soon as I get them installed.

I like the Heliums!  They were on my shortlist for AX.  Can't wait to see em Scott.  :D

I'm excited about getting them.  I'm curious how much the wheel/tire combo will weigh compared to the Web-Spokes/runflats I have now.

I don't think the Heliums are particularly distinctive (certainly not as good-looking as your wheels, Ben), but since I really like the looks of the Web-Spokes for street use, the Konigs will only be on the car for Autocross anyway.

Does anyone know where I can get centering rings locally?  I'll call the place I ordered the wheels/tires from, but in case they don't include any with the wheels, I don't want to wait for them to come in the mail.

The MINI hub needs rings with a 56.1mm inner diameter, correct?

Thanks - I ended up having to change around my order.  The place I ordered from called to let me know the Heliums were backordered.  I change the wheels to the Konig "Feathers" instead.  But then they called again and said that the Falken tires were backordered as well.  So I went ahead and canceled the entire order.

I couldn't find a place that had both the Heliums and the Azenis, so I ended up ordering the wheels from one place and the tires and hub rings from another vendor.  Total cost for everything including shipping ended up being $50 less than the original order, which I figure is about what I'll spend having them mounted and balanced, so it's pretty much a wash anyway.

The wheels should be here Friday or Saturday, and the tires/hub rings by early next week.  Still in plenty of time for ACU-4 on the 15th.
