Well my car is due for inspection and there is no way the tires are going to pass.
Sooooo thanks to Ben and all his help i am getting new tires + wheels

Here's what I am most likely going to pull the trigger on

OZ's Ultraleggera's  14.5 lbs.  nice and light

and tires are General Exclaim UHP's 19 lbs.  that will cut my total weight in 1/2 compared to what i have now. (got really good reviews)

I believe this constitutes my first Mod.  I don't believe my stripes (even though they do add horsepower, per Carl) and my lightnsight are considered true mods.
Next Mod ='s brakes.  can't have the crappy dust getting my new wheels dirty.  I smell a tech day in the near future with some possible painting....

I'm pretty psyched.  :smt026

Thanks again, Ben!!!!!

PS.  Billy from tire rack says hello to Don and Steph

I have no idea what you are talking about.... ;-)

They feel great.  I took them to the school and raced around a bit.  Gotta practice if I want to auto cross one day.  The book says there is a 500 mile break in period. ha ha ha....

Well, if those are going to be your everyday wheels/tires, you could look into some lowering springs - there's a LOT of space between the tires and the fenderwells!

Seriously, they look great.  Those are classy wheels in MINIs.
