I am buying Terry's wheels :smt026 ...NZO, 16 x 6 1/2 (48 offset).  I now need to get tires for the wheels.  I want to use these for Autocross.

I know next to nothing about tires though except that they are made of rubber and you can get them in lavender scent...unless your Riqui, then they reek of speeding tickets! 002

What do these number mean (example: 215/45)?  And what should I be looking for? :?:

the Falkens rt615 in a 215/45/16  .. from Edge racing only 94... each.

That until Hankook brings out the R888 model

Are these a tire that I can put on at the house then drive to Autox on?  Or a tire that I can drive on for my trip to the Dragon? :twisted:   I don't really want something that is for track only.
