Me & Andria are going to see "300" tonight at MacArthur Centre, 7:00pm showing.  

If anyone wants to join us....come on over!!!  I've been waiting for this one for the past 3 months!!! 119

Nice move.. very Ben Hur style. using alot of the tecnique of that era. with some 3d effects thrown in. and what appears to be Made for HIGH DEF.  A few puzzling things are the use of sparkles or static in some of the scenes like your watching it on an old tv set about 15-20 years ago.

What you think im going to tell you about the movie before you see it and ruin .. well um.  

Nope not going to happen.  But i can say there is a good use of blood and some brief Nudity.  I think the girls will like it for that. (the nudity not the blood.)

Thanks for the review Tony!!!  I'm not to concerned about the blood & nudity.  I can cover her eyes for the nudity and she doesn't mind the battle scenes.  She actually likes them.   119

(How odd is that...i don't want her to see nudity but I don't mind her seeing killing????  Good Lord, what has this world come to???)

How was the movie?

Robert & I were going to have dinner at the Bier Garden and then see Wild Hogs at the Commodore Theater.   We didn't find out that the Bier Garden was closed for a week until we got there, so we had dinner at a Pub on the corner...can't remember the name, but the food was good.

Funny story about parking:  we were behind a sedan of some sort...and they were trying to parallel park but couldn't, so they gave up.  With a few quick manuevers I had Schultze parked behind a Cadillac and in front of a Navigator.  Ah....it's times like that that I really LOVE my MINI!

The movie was freakin' AWESOME!!!!!  It was worth the wait.  I will be purchasing it as soon as it comes out on DVD and probably going to see it again tomorrow night!   :lol:
