It just occurred to me I've been terribly remiss in telling all of you about Abacus Racing.  They are a full on shop with both engine and chassis dynos, machine shop, and just about anything else you can think of.  Not only do they prep full on race cars, but they are real specialists in british cars.  The place is just FULL of old english classics, not to mention a few other marques you don't see regularly.  (I saw a Ferrari with its entire engine and rear suspension gutted out today. 119 )

They can do just about anything you guys can think of that you don't want to do yourself, all at a more reasonable rate than the dealer.  This includes any and all suspension work, pulley installs, and custom head tuning.

Anyhow, If any of you need a mechanic you can trust at reasonable rates, please don't hesitate to call Rob or Chuck down there.

Phone: 757-363-8878

They are located at 1372 Baker Rd.
Virginia Beach, VA 23455.  This is just off the North Hampton, Diamond Springs area on the airport side.

I'll second that.  I've known Chuck over there for about 16 years and have never heard a complaint about their work. I had them rebuild an engine for me in the mid 90's and they did a great job at a fair price.
