Got some S-lite comeing for Red.

Ok this is what I'm thinking but would like some other input.

These are the tires that I'm thinking about. TireRack

Now comes the fun part. The 15s that I have on there now have a Overall
Diam of 24.2". If I put the 215/40/17 that puts it down to 23.8". if I go with the 215/45/17 it goes up to 24.6". Now I have a 3/4" drop from the TSW springs all the way around.
If I put the 215/45s on there, does anyone think I will have a problem with rubbing? Or should I just go  with the 215/40s and play it safe. :?:

I think you'll be fine with either size.  The difference in diameter is only eight-tenths of an inch.  Since the radius increase is only 0.4", that will only put the top of the tire 0.4" closer to the wheel liner/fender.

That, plus your 3/4" drop, should only put the tire about 1-1/8" closer to the fender liner / wheelwell, compared to stock.

Yeah, agreed either way.  With a 225 width, you'd rub ...but at the 215 you should be fine either way.

remember carl, the tsw drop is the least amount of any of the lowering springs...  i think you'll be fine until you get those 20's i heard you talking about.

You didn't mention the offset. That would be a big factor in the rubbing debate.
The 45s should be fine
