I posted the question over on the ATL board, they are not the club organizing a fall MotD. Seems no one does. ;) It just sort of happens, like the original MotD.

So if you guys want to do it, now would be a good time to contact the Microtel or Fontana to block out some rooms. Any weekend in October looks good.

These shots were taken in Maggie Vally, about 45 minutes from the Dragon, I think, last week of October last year.   The cabin has 6 bedrooms and sleeps about 14-16, has a full kitchen, fire place and a hot tub.








Dry Falls on NC 28 on the way to Highlands.





Look a leaf!



You can tell by the black and white photograhy that i think I am waaayyy more important than I really am!!  Schocking !!

Looks like maybe the last week in October would be too late for peak blooming.

looks lik a wonderful place to stay.

I would be interested in going if someone wants to share a place. I may be able to save to go back by then.

Looks like they're having fun. :) But sadly I don't think we're going :( but never count on a teenagers word (Espesically if she doesn't know if her parents will randomly change their mind like usual ;-) lol I'm kidding..I love you!)
