Too much time indeed.  Have you guys seen screenshots from Gran Turismo HD coming on Playstation 3?  That stuff is just amazing.  At this stage I wonder if using pedals and wheel would help me, or hinder me considering I've gone all these years on just the controller.

Forza 2 just hit for Xbox 360 as well, which is high on my list of next game purchases.  When are they gonna make a custom SCCA Autocross racer game with the ability to design your own courses??  Now that would help with some seat time!  Get some real time physics of a mini in there and have at it!

The best physics I have seen in a game were actually in Enthusia. Little known and the game play isn't as good but the physics are very good. Better than GT4.
Makes the game harder to play and I'm pretty sure that's why it wasn't so popular.

I think I had a little more fun with mine in Forza 2 last night...

This was my mandatory well-I'm-getting-smoked-time-to-turn-around-and-play-kamakazi moment.

The picture doesn't quite capture just how airborne I got both of the cars going at the point of impact  :D

Let me know when you do, Ben.  I'd like to use my xbox live for something rather than downloading brick-your-console updates

I'll be hitting Halo 3 until mid month when it goes away, and then I'm on vacation in Florida.  After that... we'll see!

LOL!

But seriously - I have been curious about Guitar Hero, having heard much much about it, but not curious enough to go buy a game system. So is it awesome? Or merely entertaining?

Peace,
Riqui

It's awesome... completely.  Especially if you have a penchant for enjoying songs that actually rock.  Even Deb plays, and she hates most video games!  I mean really, what can be more satisfying than turning up the tv to 11 and ripping out a good face-melter like Freebird or Can't you hear me knocking... or maybe some sweet child o mine?  Anyone that wants to check it out is more than welcome to roll over to our place to check it out!

I just may take you up on that one afternoon after Scott has departed for parts west.

I do enjoy me a good face-melter from time to time, lol.

Thanks for the offer.

Peace,
Riqui

Hey Riqui let me know if you go, maybe I will go with you. I have been over to Ben & Debs and played Guitar Hero II It was a lot of fun. I really suck at video games but still like to play them.
