Along with those questions, where shall we meet to convoy? (we are on the Peninsula)

I though breakfast at the Silver Diner (in NN) might be nice?

Definitely bring chairs and shade. I think there will be food for purchase there, but they also have picnic facilities. We brought a cooler before and plan to again. Crown MINI brings something new for us to drool over, and they provide the goodie bag. Very good bags too!

When ordering tickets online are they printable on your computer? The website asks for a mailing address and not sure if there would be enough time now to get here.
Thanks

Eric...

The tickets are Will Call... you pick them up there.  They only have the shipping info because that's how their online purchase system is set-up, as you can order wine.

So - we loaded up the car, cooler, chairs, puppies and off we were.

After about an hour of the stop and go hellatious traffic - puppy Dolce threw up all over my lap.    Yup, then proceeded to throw up 3 more times as we turned around and went home.

Hope you guys had fun.  Took us an hour to get home too.  :(

Glad everyone had fun.  :P

Sorry we didn't make it out, but building permits came through so this weekend is pack up part of the house before construction begins. I'm still in shock by what a tiny room can hold. Yikes 002

Steph and I also had a great time. After leaving the vineyard we and some others drove up to Charlottesville and spent the night. We drove the back on route 33 into Richmond, caught route 5 down to Jamestown. We then took the ferry over to route 10. The drive is a whole lot better than I-64. I post pictures soon. Other than the heat everything else was great. Glad everyone had a great time.

Yeah, I-64 generally stinks.  We ended up taking 95 south and picked up route 460 from Petersburg to route 58 thru Suffolk.  Only took us an hour an a half from the north-west side of Richmond.  I didn't think that was bad and we had very little traffic.  The rain may have slowed us down a bit.

Tribble used to get car sick a lot. Now we give both pups Bonine and they're great! It's like Dramamine and can be found at Eckerd drugs near the dramamine. I give them each 1/4 tablet because they're under 10 pounds. Look online for "Bonine" and "dog" and you should be able to find some info on how much to give them for their weight. I've been told that you only need to give it to them for a handful of trips before they don't need it anymore. It works!

We had a great time! I think the pups did too. :-) They were quite well behaved.

Yeah, what Jenn said.  That and what Don said.  That and what everyone else said.  Yeah, that's the ticket!
The stay in Charlottsville was fun. The trip home was awsome!!  Trees overhanging the road, lots of histerical sites, beeyoutifull |ry!  I think Jenn and I are going to do a weekend in Richmond sometime and play tourist.

We had a great time.  It was fun to see everyone in person.  The Inn we stayed at was beautiful!  We went for a paddle boat ride around their lake and then had a fabulous dinner and an equally impressive breakfast.
We took Route 5 back home, and stopped in Williamsburg to see the in-laws, it is a nice drive.

I am glad you two had a good time. It was nice meeting you again. You'll have to get Bill out more often.
