I'm in shape. Round is a shape, isn't it?

You'll never believe it!  I spoke with my mother to find out about materials for the first project.  She was very interested and would like to join us.  I hope that's ok.  I read her the lists.  I think she already has everything in the big list.  Quilting is one of those things she's always wanted to learn, but never did.  She said that if she could get the top part done, she'd never be able to put the batting and backing together.

So, provided that she's feeling well on the 14th, we'll be two Riqui!

I am very excited about our first project - I am in SNIPER school on the 14th, but am more than willing to bring my sewing machine over so you'll have an extra on the 14th - let me know if you want it.

Hey Laurie,

Thanks so much for the offer but I think we are going to be okay for the 14th. I can't remember who all is coming but I think we have at least a second machine and that should be more than enough because with me I think we will only have a total of 4 people. As I don't intend to make a full quilt that day for myself (I will, however have all the materials for me to make one and use them to demonstrate each step) I believe we'll be fine.

But again thanks SO much for the offer. I really appreciate it.

Peace,
R.

I really think I have to get those - - I am just terrified that on the day I decide to wear both my toe socks and my Wonder Woman underoos, I'll get in a car accident and the Doc's at the ER will think that I am "special"

I can hear the phone call now:

"Uh, Mr. Gardner, this is Dr. Soandso from Norfolk General Hospital. Your wife has been in a car accident. Is she, uh, well, when we were undressing her to examine her, well, is your wife all there mentally?"

ROFL!

Peace,
R.
