This is a Hampton Autox Day, but as I recall most of us are finished around noon. I know it makes for a long day, but last years Pride Run was a blast, and I'm looking forward to this year!
If you see me at the Run, please honk to keep me awake!!

I looked through the forums first but couldn't find an answer. We've never done a "Pride" run before. I see it is to benefit the Police but I don't see how the money comes in. Do we pay a fee to participate? Do we solicite contributions? Or what? Please explain how it all works.
 Sorry if I seem ignorant on this...I just used up all my brain power on a macro econ exam, there isn't anything left....

I'm going to do my best to make this event but I have a few questions. Where does the charity money come from? I have no problem with making a donation but I just don't understand where the money comes from otherwise. I figured out at the GWR event that t-shirt sale proceeds, sticker sale proceeds etc is where the money came from. Is it the same for this? If so, put me down for 2 2xl t-shirts and a couple of stickers. :D

In past events it's been from T-shirt and raffle ticket sales.

It was great to see everyone today. And it wasn't that hot till we got in the car with the top down and drove. LOL!! The police escort & intersection blocking worked out very well. Except for the lady in the Santa Fe who was having a nervous break down because she couldn't get out of her street. :pmsl: Thanks to Don & Steph for inviting us to Chicks Oyster Bar for dinner after the raffle. Yummy!!!
