I have a set of runflats that need to be unmounted.  Merchants Tire nor Treadquarters have the equipment or trained staff.

If you've used a local shop in the past, please post the info and if you can remember what the rate was for taking off the runflats, share that info, too!

Thanks!

Can't beat Joe's Tires and Rims. Located on VA Beach Blvd at Mil Hwy. Can't miss it, it's the most garish thing in town. ;)

Also Mike at Sports & Imports in Chesapeake. He's an honest guy and knows what he's doing. He's a BMW race enthusiast too!

I have to second that on Joe's being the most garish building this side of Vegas. And the service is not so bad either.

I had good service at Boss Wheels and Tires (Team Hi-dust) a few doors down from Joes.  To mount and balance my new wheels and tires cost me a mear $40ish.

It's probably not a good idea to go to the Merchants on Battlefield blvd for anything more than to look at the tires in the window.  On Chester, they first lost the centering ring for Angie's race rims and then had no idea what it was or where to get it.  Funny that they are sold through most every rim distributor.  Guess they didn't teach rims at the 20 minute tire school those guys go thru.  lol
