So I have been promising to put up reviews on Fiona's latest mod - - since I have to be at work and there is nothing to do, I figured now was as good as any.

Many of you have now seen Fiona reveal her secret identity - - Wonder Woman! (NO!!! It is not Captain America!) I love her new stripes. I, however, do not love Mighty Stripes, the company from which Scott and I purchased the stripes. The prise was moderate (about $170 for boot, bonnet and sides) There are two problems however. First, we did not get what we ordered. I had wanted the U-strip for the bonnet and instead we got two parallel hood stripes. When Scott called to tell them that we did not get the hood stripes we wanted we were assured that what we recieved was exactly what was pictured on the website and it was a matter of laying the stripes out correctly on application that created the V pattern, not a pre-made U or V set as we had thought. Okay, fine, as we had never done stripes before we believed them. Second, the information we had before ordering was that the complex pattern (1/2 inch red stripe, 1/2 inch space, 4 inch blue stripe with stars, 1/2 inch space, 1/2 inch red stripe) would all come on one wet applicator sheet, merely lay the whole sheet down, transfer, remove and viola. Not so - each of the three stripes that make up the finished pattern came on their own applicator sheet and it was up to us to space them and apply them - read: pain in the a**.

Given all the unexpected difficulties, rather than Scott applying the stripes himself (which had been the plan) we relized we were in over our head and went ahead and got a professional to apply the strips (see: RAVE ON STEVE!)

All in all - happy with the look, VERY HAPPY! Price - Meh. Getting what you ordered - not so much. Ease of application - not in this lifetime.

On a scale of 1-10, I give Mighty Stripes a 4.
