Part two of Fiona/Wonder Woman's exterior mod review.
So you have seen the new stripes which are pretty awesome and you have probably read the rant on Mighty Stripes .. now for the redeeming factor!!!!
STEVE RAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Given that the stripes came on about 16 different sheets, nothing was pre-spaced and the stars on the blue stripe are punch outs - the instillation of the stripes was going to be a real b*tch. Scott checked around and Angela had recommended this guy Steve. Scott called him and set up an appointment, Steve was more than willing to work around all the crazy schedules we had going at the time which was awesome of him.
The install took about 4 hours - yikes (for him, I felt so bad!) but he did an absolutely meticulous and perfect job. he wrapped every edge, took off every grill, scoop and the trunk handle to lay the stripes under them rather than cutting them to stop at the edge of the various pieces of trim. Not a bubble, a wrinkle, a flaw anywhere - absolute perfection. The spacing of the various stripes matches down to the nano-meter all the way around -just PERFECT!!!
I cannot say enough good about Steve. Given the length of time and the difficulty of the pattern, the price cannot be beat. When he was done he told Scott the price for install would be $150. Scott, haveing sat and watched the install said no way, that's too cheap and gave him more, lol.
If you need stripes, call Steve, he is the BESTEST ever!!!!
