Hampton Roads Club Mini

So Scott has been in Monterey for about a week  now. He has not posted lately because the cable guy does not come until tomorrow afternoon to install cable/phone/internet connection so I thought I would give you all a quick run down of events to date.

Scott arrived safely (read: no tickets!!!) in Monterey on Friday June 29. He got up bright and early Saturday June 30 and by around noon had located and rented an apartment - wow, he's quick!

Having accomplished the primary goal of the day so quickly, he than set about the second task - furniture and fixtures. By late Saturday afternoon/early evening, Scott had gotten almost all the necessary goods (bed, sheets, towels, microwave, TV, etc) On Sunday he decided to complete the outfitting of the new digs - sofa, dishes, dining room table, etc.

Basically, in 2 days Scott when from living in a hotel off of the stuff he could fit in the Mini to having a completely furnished apartment. He is so awesome!

Monday was check in, Tuesday was orientation - both went well, no hitches, no big news.

Thursday was Scott's first official day of classes and they gave him homework!!!! Poor baby, first day back to school in over 15 years and they really gave him a welcome! lol

When I talked with him last night, he was knee deep in trig and calculus - uhg. But he sounded like he was doing well - considering everything.

I am sure one of the first things he will do once he has an internet connection is get on here, check posts and drop y'all a message about how he's doing. I just thought I would do an update to tide y'all over until than!
