Good to see you. Two mini MINI meetings this weekend. Pick a place that is fun to hang out, and announce it. People will show up.  :D

Welcome! Just because nothing is planned doesn't mean nothing is happening. ;) Just pick a place and announce a meeting, people will show up. Or share a favorite drive.

Thanks for the welcomes.
Not a pro, just a car guy. Just sold a very cherry 1987 Saab 900s, am parting out a rusty Fiat Spider, also putting a new motor in a '95 Mercury cougar(4.6 V-8 ) which I'll put up for sale when it's running. My Mini is my "fun" car. I've got a '97 Dodge diesel for making runs to the dump and pulling my boat, a 2000 Dodge van for business (carries my tools.) and my wife drives an '03 Xler 300.
I'm working with Cooperflags right now to put the Grateful dead logo on my roof, we'll see what kind of price I can get. Has anyone put a roof on? How difficult is it? I've done some graphix installs before, but nothing that big.
Maybe we can set up a meet for memorial day weekend? Jenro's and Doumars are cool, but maybe something a little unusual? There's a restaurant, the Blue Crab, right on the water, big paved parking lot, a little more expensive than Doumars, but really good crab soup.
Whaddaya'll think? Lemme know.[/quote]

Hi and welcome!

Well, we had two meet ups this weekend. We'll be meeting next Sunday at Sonic on Nimmo.  There, those who have ordered graphics for the side of their car will pay for and receive them and we'll pre-plan the next week's activity:  We've got 15 member cars participating in the Pungo Strawberry Fest parade.

We are a bit of an anarchical society.  Kinda of like the anarcho-syndicalist commune in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, we sort of take turns being king for a day.

Now I KNOW I found the right people!

Sorry.  Bad quote.  Instead: "We take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week"

There.  Much better.
