What is it: a whole bunch of ugly When was it made: the 70's, where most of the ugly comes from! It looks like what happens when a Pacer and a Porsche hook up for a night of alcohol fueled nookie (than wake up the next morning and the Porsche tries to chew off its wheel to escape before the Pacer wakes up!) Blech, put that behind a cut tag to protect the children from horrible nightmares of cars that should never be. Peace, R. |

Really going out on a limb, I think I saw that car at Pebble Beach last year. Having owned AMC cars in the past it interested me.
Mid engine concept car by AMC?

I am not an expert, but you would be surprised to find out that most of you are correct. The designer of the Porsche 928 has stated more than once that he took design elements from the AMC pacer. I believe this is a one off hotrod from a Pacer/Matador body line. If anyone has nore info, please post as I'm curious about this funky looking machine. Pacer Notes |
