We've been travelling all over SE CT house hunting, and on the way home on Tuesday, I got the dreaded flat tire indicator lamp.  Got back to the hotel, didn't see anything obvious, so I went to tru-value and got a pressure gauge.  Passenger, rear seemed low, so I topped it off and reset the indicator.  By Wednesday morning, the pressure in that one was down, but I couldn't see any visual indication of a flat.  Nearest MINI dealer from where I was was 50 miles away.  MINI Roadside advised me to take it to a BMW dealer nearby.  I drove it over and they noted that the pressure was low, bu that they didn't see any problems.  I didn't have any handling problems, so we drove around on it all day yesterday.  Took off this morning to check out another house, and the indicator came back on.  That did it.  I topped off the air and drove it out to Inskip MINI in Warwick, Rhode Island.  I was honestly thinking rim leak from a NY Thruway pothole.  They put it up on the lift and found a framing spike in the tread  119 .  I couldn't believe that the tire held up that will with a puncture like that.  Had the tire replaced under the road hazzard warrenty and went home.  Kudos to Inskip MINI!
