Just like to make sure everyone is aware...
September 8th NASCAR will be in Richmond, VA. Traffic in the area will be HORRIBLE (much worse then normal VA traffic.) Think of it like this, 112,029 seats, that WILL be sold out, means that there will be atleast 30,000-50,000 extra cars in the area. The 9th will yield less traffic, but still, many those people will be leaving the area on the 9th. This is a bad weekend to do it.

Yeah...I went to the race last year at that time.... the highway wasn't snarled up at all. 295 had plenty o room on it. The real drama only occurs in the 3 square mile vicinity of the track itself. no worries folks.
