Good questions guys, lets see if I can answer here.
Convertibles are fine, yes still $100, despite the added difficulty.
You can see the shades before he applies last minute. We just want to have a general idea of how many vehicles on hand, but we'll have plenty of film on hand for everything. If you're really on the fence, I can send you his way at the shop he works for so you can get a better idea.
The tint number does refer to the amount of light that transfers through the film. I'd equate 20% to kind of a standard sunglass tint. For reference for most of you, the rear windows on SUV's put out from the factory today are typically between 35% and 20%. 20% is definitely pretty dark, but I like it like that. I think 35% all around would be a great compromise, and it's not so dark to attract the eyes of the law in my opinion. It's only the limo tint that really stands out. TC told me in Virginia Beach, there is only one, maybe 2 units available to test the light transmission, and the company that sold them to the city gave them away because they weren't reliable in determining the actual light transmission. What can I say, I run without a front plate too. 8)
Jim and Sherry... he'd be glad to do the FJ. Likewise the Mercedes, although the cost may be a bit higher, depending on the labor involved. (Some cars require door panel removal and other issues.. I'll forward your questions on these to him for clarification. What year is the Mercedes Terry?) The laws for Las Vegas are different than here however, and you may really really enjoy going at least 20%. Check your local laws... but for looks, I'd say match your front 2 windows to the rears for a uniform look. It's totally up to you guys of course. :D
For the Mini's I think having 2 different tint levels looks silly most of the time, but that's just me.
Location suggestion of Jims... The garage itself would be fantastic. If there is any kind of weather, the Bus Barn would be out, and if there is a breeze blowing of any kind, we're all asking for dirt to find its way between the glass and tint, resulting in unhappy people! Trees drop a lot of stuff year round. I'd be happy to help you move stuff around in the garage Jim to get it ready if you need it.
Last but not least guys, if you're interested, he'll also do windshields or windshield headers. (My own car has a header). Unless you find a really cool VA inspector, you won't pass inspection with this on. Talk to me privately if you want to do this, I can point you in the right direction come inspection time.

I'll check with TC on added cost for this, but I'm guessing off hand about $15 for a header, $25 for a whole windshield.
