That's neat BJ. I've always wanted to get down there to see a shuttle take off. I hope you are doing well.

BJ, haven't you asked Wendy to make a Det Florida for you yet?

No I haven't ... but if you are Space Coast bound give me a call...we're 6 minutes from Patrick AFB

I drove over to the Orlando dealer Saturday, check book in hand ready to order.

I left 45 min later never having spoken to any one other than the desk girl......the two "managers" sitting behind the counter were too good to lower themselves to speak to potential customers...... "all the Motoring Advisors are busy" sounds good when you don't see two BoZos sitting on their GM's.

I think I'm gonna buy a retractable hard top Miata ( say what TJ ?)

On the other hand there is a large and active Classic Club here

They have 15+ Classics indicating plans to show up in Cocoa Village for a 'no awards' show in a couple of weeks.  Already met with a guy who has 3 in his driveway and is building an entry for the Grassroots Motoring challenge based on a MK1.....

You don't have to ask.  I already did that in July.  I didn't want you to think that you could escape us by moving out of state. :P

BJ,
I'm not sold on the NC's.  Haven't driven one though.  I'll be shooting primer next week and painting the week after it looks like.

Are you looking into AC for OC yet?

Ernest that used to work at Checked Flag in the beginning works at the MINI dealership in Jacksonville. Maybe you can drive up and see him. He always took good care of Steph and I.

Nothing like a shuttle launch. Loved to catch them when I was in FL going to nuke school. The best launches were the night ones, lit the sky up fiery orange.

Ernest sold me mine too.  Forgot he was in Jax

Went back with OC and he offered to swap keys for a turn at Pungo ... he was offering me the keys to his Ferrari.  Took me for a ride on 264 ....
