LOL!!  Thanks guys!!

I had issue after issue last night while I was trying to finish it up.  I sewn the bottom stitching on the front & back and realized that my needle point canvas was not in the bottom......in all my nervousness and adjusting & re-adjusting things...it had moved to the front panel so I had to pull a section of seam in the liner and fish it out then cut it down a little and snake it back into bottom.  Thank goodness I hadn't sewn the bottom sides yet.  119   Then I just had the hardest time doing the side corner stitching.  Wow!  It was pretty difficult to keep everything in place & moving all while keeping my line straight.  There are a couple sections that are definately "Franken-stitches"!

But all in all, I pretty happy with it.  I am very proud that I was able to match the stripes in the pattern up on the bottom & on the top of the liner and I like the way the handles turned out.

Anyway...thank you Riqui!  You are a wonderful teacher!  Your new students are very lucky to have you.

Here's my purse from today's stichin session.  I just got it all finished up.  Had to be lazy when I got home and lay in the chaise & watch some tv, LOL!  But finally got my lazy bum up and finished.  I think it turned out pretty good and it only ended up costing $10 to make!  :P

Thanks Riqui!  I think I'm getting better at this.  002

Thanks Trish!  I definately need some practice sewing in trim.  LOL!  And I think I'm gonna take approx. a 1/2" off the liner so that it fits better inside.

Angie, It looks wonderful, you have really caught on to this sewing thing very well.

You are a sewing fiend now.

Great job.

I envious of your ability to go home and make stuff.  I'm still working on a project that seems to be taking forever and I keep putting it off.
