Hello , Let's say I'm a past Mini owner - My wife and I owned a 1959 Mini 850 - with a 1098 installed insted. Car was minor preped by Bob Williams and ideas from George Sykes. If you've been around for a while -I'm 54 - you might recognize those names, back in the early 70's , as some of the best Mini drivers in the Tidewater area many years ago - Bob, George, and I all belonged to the now defunct Peninsula Sports Car Club . I had to get rid of the race Mini when the kids were born , but have now gotten back into Mini's . We'll be settling a Motorcycle accident soon and will be getting a 07 or 08 MCS.

Will be going, just to spectate, to Pungo on Saturday. Hope to meet some of you at Pungo.

Mike

MPETUOS  - Kind of - have 2 on the Miniusa site saved - part of this is waiting for my Motorcycle meets car accident from almost 2 years ago. Finally settling - now my lawyer is asking for a letter from the ortho for clarification on a point. As soon as we settle we're buying a Mini Cooper S - Liked the Turbo on the test drive.

Nice spec!

Hi and welcome! I'm a distant member now, but the fuzzy hubby and I show up at the odd ice cream meets. ;) Have you seen the threads here about the Dragon? We're definitely coming east for that next year.  8)

Hi Mike,

Checked out your spec list, only one thing I see where the money could be better spent.

Unless bicycles in the driveway are an issue, Park Distance Option "NOT NEEDED".

Use that $350. for some other JCW option, like the column mounted rev light, that would bring back some racer instincts I'm sure.

Just a thought.

PDC........ usally not needed..... except ZI've backed both my MINIs into so many things that I could have bought the PDC Option 4 times noe.

$350 is cheaper than a deductible, and thank God i don't hacve to autox in reverse!

My wife and I will be there tomorrow - We packed the chairs and cooler for tomorrow already. Will be driving a white 2002 Acura RSX-Type S - This one we'll be keeping - have a Harley Ultra glide also - just gave our truck to our youngest daughter going through some hard vehicular times.
The Mini will replace the truck - gee are we downsizing ? Nope just getting better MPG. Going green .  energy wise anyway.
Hope to meet many of the HRMini crew.
