Quick notes on the start of the second week of school - -

1. I want new feet.

2. I want my old voice back (I have almost entirely lost my voice and I sound like Demi Moore with a cold .)

3. Duct tape - I now have at least 2 more good ideas on how to use duct tape. Unfortunately, they are probably both illegal.

4. Did I mention I need new feet?

5. OH DEAR GOD!!!!! How can there be THIS much work to do?!?!?!?!!?

Just a snap shot. Uh, anyone busy Friday afternoon/night? I think I am really really going to need a beer (or margarita) by Friday. My house? 6ish/7ish?

Peace,
R. [/i]

Yep, the life of a teacher ROCKS!!!!!  Now you understand that when they say that they really mean boulders, pebbles, and gravel with bits of glass in it.  No guitar hero here.  Just Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble.

Everyone's asking what to bring - drinks, food, etc.

I have not even thought that far ahead, lol.

I'll cruise by the store after my Friday afternoon department meeting (WHY!?!?) and grab some off the shelf munchies, maybe some beer, etc. I have a blender and I think some tequila and vodka but nothing to mix with it. So I am thinking 6:30 or 7:00 pm?

WARNING - the house is a complete and total disaster area - I mean OSHA is citing me for working in my own den. So, just so you know, get a tetanus or drink enough to kill an infection - your choice.

Okay, gotta bolt - Parent Open House Night - the parents CAN'T be as some of their kids ...... can they? OY!

Peace,
R.

Hey,

What's the meaning of having Parent's Night on a Rosh Hashanah?  I'm having dinner at my brother's house tonight with the family, so I'll miss it.  Hope it goes well and the parents aren't mirrors of what you see daily in class.

I'll be making a  black bean dip and got scoopable chips - I'll be happy to run by the package store let me know.  Oh a night to kick back and visit with humans - yippe - I love my dogs, but it'll be nice to hear a live human voice and not just the ones in my head. LOL  Do I need to get Kool-aid or is someone else bringing it?
