What does that mean?  I checked my items in anyway...not sure if there is a fine for overdue items!

The website/forum has the ability to have documents or grpahic files upladed to it.  Easch member can then "check it out" and then "check it back in when thery are done with it.  An example would be a hi-res image, cut and paste from a thread won't yield the same resulst as having a copy of the actual file.

TSCC uses this function for the registration system for their autocrosses.

Or I could be wrong.   :o

You are mostly correct sean.  The check-in my items link works for documents as well as content items, like the Welcome and history text on the home page.  The idea is that only 1 person can edit things at a time.  While they have the item checked out, it is locked from editting by anyone else.

I will probably hide this from everyone except those that edit content.
