I've got Pink Floyd 'guitarista' David Gilmour's 2006 release, On An Island, spinning on these first cloudy Fall days.  It's just the thing to keep you mellow in rough traffic, too.

Right now I'm rolling to a burned CD of "System of a Down", Korn, and Nine inch Nails.

Good call on Gilmour Bob... I have that cd.... and just about everything else Floyd.

95% of the time it's Opie & Anthony on XM but right now it's Nine Inch Nails "Year Zero".  Helps me become one with my road rage!!

I don't have a radio...doubt I could hear it if I did...I just like to hear the intake sucking air in and the burble of the exhaust.

TJ - In the classics I was told to carry a radio, so you could turn it up loud. Then you couldn't hear all the wild noises from a 3 main bearing engine. I followed the advice, made me a lot calmer.

In my wifes car right now is my CD of Bob Seger. Which will be replaced with a MP3 cd of something else for my wife.

When I get mine next week it will be some Joe Cocker.

I also have an iPod with lots of music of almost all types.  I usually play  a variety mix from one of my playlists.

My iPod has anyone from Ozzy to Elvis, Green Day  to Toby Keith, Nickelback to Dean Martin,  Diana Krall to Gretchen Wilson, Lynyrd Skynyrd to Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music, Van Halen (not Van Hager) to Van Morrison, Rush to 38 Special,  Kenny Chesney to Jimmy Buffet ( okay not a far stretch there, but it's all about the mood)........
I  love all Genres except for Rap, but then again I like Linkin Park, Chili Peppers,  and I do have Tim & Nelly's song.  icon_lol

I'm having an "R" day on the iPod today:

Roxy Music
REM
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Rush

but I'm not in the car just cleaning house when it dawned on me.  icon_razz
