Does anyone out there know about how many bales of pine straw I could get in my MINI? I sold my truck when I got my MINI and now I need to adjust to hauling smaller loads.  Thanks!

I would look at other ways to haul bales of straw. You might want to look at this site. I think Jim orderd the hitch from them if I'm not mistaken.

Among the improtant things one must have b4 they buy a MINI,
especially if they enjoy yard work, or working with lumber,
is a friendly neighbor with a pick-up truck.....

Cajun is right, Jim bought the trailer hitch for the MCS. He plans on towing a very small and light trailer with it, should work fine for yard clippings. :) MINI in Europe rates the MC towing capacity as 1,000 lbs, but MINIUSA says not recommended for towing. Your car, your decision. :)

In keeping with the yard work theme, does anybody know if anybody makes a Mower Deck and Rear Bagger for the MINI?  John Deere perhaps?  I figure the MINI already has a tighter turn radius than my Craftsman rider, and it would free up more space in my garage  :smt023

only problem with that is the tires getting dirty.  It's hard enough to keep them clean from the brake dust, now you are going to add grass stains.

Grass stains won't be a problem.  I've got a line on as set of 17" Cub Cadet Run Flats.  Should look great, but they might affect my top speed in the back yard.

I would guess 3, but for me (now that I have a convertible), just 1 lol.... (unless it was de-baled, but that would be messy, hey)
