The 2nd pic down is Devil's Tower in Wyoming.  I had a snow ball fight there in the middle of the night on one of my many "take off & drive" run's with my USAF buddies.  What a blast that was.  Good times!!

I also see the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD  and buffalo.....are they in the Black Hills, SD.  I thought is was awesome to see those huge things right next to the car on a public road.

Oh and Wall Drug!  I love how they advertise for this place as soon as you enter the state.   044

Did you guys hit up the Badlands?

Yes, we went through the Badlands but after Death Valley, it really didn't look that bad.  icon_lol

LOL!!  044  I liked going there and seeing the pairie dog villages.  They are soooo cute.

When I was stationed out there there was an ad in the paper for people to show up out in the Badlands and they could be extras in the filming of Starship Troopers.  But we didn't make it....we were all too hung over that Saturday morning.   017  I was so young and stupid.  I could have been in a "B" flick!  Dang it!!!  044

Keep the pics coming, Jim & Sherry!  This is a walk down memory lane. 023
