 026 SATURDAY, November 17th, 8 pm

Deb and I are going to see Comedian Ralphie May at the VB Funnybone Comedy club.  www.vbfunnybone.com

This is a non-smoking show.

Ralphie May was the runner up in the first season of Last Comic Standing, and remains one of my favorites.  His wit isn't found very often, and his ability to elicit belly laughs out of me is unparallelled.

Dinner beforehand perhaps?  There are many options for dinner... the Funnybone opens at 6:30 for dinner (although I wasn't terribly impressed when I ate there.  My turkey "panini" was a grilled cheese with lunchmeat turkey inside.)

We could try Cheesecake factory, PF Changs, Smokey Bones, Macaroni Grill, Max and Ermas, California Pizza Kitchen, Red Star, Keagans, Gordon Biersch, Bravo italian, and finally for you rich folks, Ruth's Chris, home of the $30 steak without sides.  Give me a head count, both for dinner, comedy show, or both, and I'll work out the dinner details if we have interest.  If we don't have interest... well, I won't care, I'll be laughing my tush off regardless!   044 044

Ben that sounds like fun, but we won't be able to make it. icon_sad

Allison is in 2 parades that day:

1. Coliseum Central Holiday Parade - Hampton,  which Trish our Christmas elf will also be in. icon_razz

2. Norfolk Holiday Parade in the evening.

By January the Marching Band schedule should slow down greatly and we'll have more time to play on the weekends. 023

Count Tim and I in on both dinner and comedy club!  Should we buy our own comedy club tickets or are we going to buy as a group?  We're not to picky on eating out, but we're not HUGE Bravo fans.....

Yeah guys, just buy tickets online, keep it simple.  We may try a group thing another time if we can, but there are no discounts/passes or anything for Ralphie May.

Wendy... you've got to get Allison driving so you guys can come to more stuff!!  If she had  a mini, she'd much rather tag along with all of us than marching... I mean geez.. marching?   002 icon_lol

Hey it's a tough activity.  She's already broken a finger and is trying to work out with a splint on her right hand just so she can  do the parades.  icon_lol

The medical copays for that were  cheaper than car insurance for a teen though not to mention the price of the car unless Uncle Ben decides to sell her his in a couple of years so her and Daddy can have matching cars icon_lol icon_lol icon_lol

Sounds like fun. I will have to let you guys know I just had to buy new glasses and my insurance did not pay for them or the exam or the contacts. So that cost me a bundle. Plus I have to do charity work that day too.

Just depends on what all happens.  PopcornEmoticon

Hey guys...

How does 6:00 pm dinner at Schlotzsky's sound?  No line, no waiting, cheap cheerful sandwiches and soups.  That way we can head into the Bone early enough to get decent seats I hope, as their doors open at 6:30.  It's a sold out show... and that's a lot of people.
