We just took delivery of a MCSa convertable and have a question for all the owners; Has anyone purchased the wind deflector?  I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has first-hand experience with one.
I think it would be a worthwhile addition, just curious about the pros/cons.

BTW: This is our second MINI, the first is an 05 EB/B MCS.  The wife's is
a 06 Coll blue/blue top.  Jason and the entire crew at CF once again did a fantastic job!

Thanks for any potential info.

Cons:  You can't have kids in the back seat.  I got 2 so i never tried it.

I have one. Useful in the winter, it extends the top down season considerably. Only drawback is making it difficult to use the back seat for transporting stuff.

Don't know if it was your wife or not but spotted a bluish Mini with the top down going down Wythe Creek Rd towards Poquoson around 12:15. Nice car!

Yep, that was her.  About 30m later we headed back to CF with the top up just to try the AC.  Hope no one reported us!

Thanks for the replys concerning the deflector.  I guess I would need to see one installed in the car first.  Not too concerned over the space issue, but I suppse that would limit the last minute purchases while driving it.

What I would like to see developed is a intergrated cover that fits into the rear seats that includes an option to cover the passenger seat.  Many of the older British cars had this and it looked great.  Obviously this is abit overboard, but would be interesting.

You can still put purchases on the back seat under the screen, it's just a bit more of a PITA to load groceries. Now I just put the top down and put everything in the back seat, with the screen I had to remove and replace the screen too.
