Ok this is a feeler to start.Laurie found this new Tea Room that we'd like to try. We'd really like to make this a Mini Gals afternoon luncheon. Butterfly Garden is not open on Sundays so we'll need a Saturday date to be determined later. Enough interest would need to be produced first and then particulars can be posted later. I will try and attach a menu and I have a link for some recent reviews as well. This looks pretty cool! thanks!http://www.teamap.com/tearooms/butterfly_garden_tea_room_and_itty_bitty_bakery_2686.htmlOh and Laurie has more details below

The total cost per person will be $26/adult that includes tax and gratitues - there is a kids tea @ $10.95 each (+taxes and such). The Butterfly tea is presented as 3 courses: a cup of soup, warm scone with curds (butter) and preserves followed by 2 tiers of delectable savories & sandwiches and minature pasteries and desserts plus your own pot of endless tea. The Tea Room has 2 seating areas - the balcony seats 12 persons and the main floor seats 16. So there's room for quite a few of us. Once we know if there is an interest and we choose a date - it will be up to each individual to make their own reservations (pre-paid kinda). I think it will be fun to sit and chat and enjoy some delicious goodies :) Laurie

Only to add flame to the fire.... All the best Chefs are men. Now, Julia is the exception.... I bumped into her once, literally, and believe me, she could take most men, myself included, in a fight. You can't talk bad about Julia. That would be wrong. Now with that said. No one can deny the fun and frivolity that a real tea party can deliver. As a culinarian, I know that you girls will indeed have a smashing time, the Butterfly Tea Garden has a great reputation, so go and enjoy, all of you deserve it. Thread hijack over.

So, Sean you setting "the Girlfriend" and two girls with reservations? Angie - usually one does get a bit feminie for a true tea, but I don't think there is a dress code at the resturant. I think it would be novel to see you in something other than jeans. We might just have to take a poll on that. Does Angie really have legs and should she show them off? he-he!

He's not a puppy, he's a young man in the prime of his life. He thinks he is a cat.

There's another tea room in Great Bridge. It's called With Flair. The newspaper gave it good ratings last year. Don

Sounds like an interesting idea... but I think I would be more likely to go during feetsball season...! He's not a puppy, he's a young man in the prime of his life. He thinks he is a cat. He's not a Maltese by any chance? Our Maltese sometimes thinks he's a cat! Jenn
