In my own friggin driveway no less! I went out Saturday morning and as I was about to back out of the driveway I realized my back glass was shattered... then I noticed a whole bunch of palm sized rocks laying around that didn't belong... and then saw that the driver's side and back end were covered with deep gouges and chips.. I counted about 14 rocks altogether... At least I have a $0 deductable with Allstate so it won't cost me any money to get fixed, but still..   I had an estimate done today and all told it's about $2 grand of damage... Of course the police take a report by phone and do *nothing*... so I'm considering placing a bounty on the heads of the perpetrators  say $500 to turn in the culprit -? I'm sure it was some neighborhood kids, and probably whoever did it was dumb enough to brag about it-! sheesh.  sheesh.... |

Near Salem Jr & Sr High in Va Beach... but you're right, no other 335s in my neighborhood... just average suvs, Camrys and Pri-i. A few years ago when MINIs were new my MCS was egged one Saturday morning. Jealousy.  But now I'm having a high end 4 camera Infrared nightvision surveillance system installed, with a 4 channel DVR and remote monitoring capability. I'll know when someone farts in the dark on my street. lol. |

Thanks for the sympathetic words, everyone. It helps a little to tell the tale. I am considering the possible negative repurcussions before I have the motion sensor poison dart guns installed.... maybe I'll just go with auto-tasers. That way at least when I come home and find seizured frothing pre-teens writhing on my front lawn they can be revived and I won't go down for involuntary teen-slaughter. (that was a joke)... (ok, I really did consider it  ) |

When I lived in NYC, there was a pretty nice motorcycle that always parked near the front of my building that had a note taped to it that read something like, "This bike is being videotaped. If you vandalize it, you will be caught."
You could try something like that posted in your front yard, with or without the actual recording device...

AirSoft Sniper Rifle 480 feet per second.... Ghent Residents would be safe Local Vandals wouldn't know what the heck happened. |

I probably know the little darlings - I'm at Rosemont Forest Elementary and boy do we have some UNsupervised kids from your neighborhood. It's scary to think these brats could someday rule our world -if they survive their teenage years and aren't behind bars - it's amazing the # of parents who are incarerated and the kids are in my school - scary.
