I think you handled this entire situation very well.  045 You now have two sets of parents who are indebted to you on a couple different levels.  Their kids will learn to respect you, over time, just a bit more for not handing your findings over to the police.  It's still ashame that it even happened in the first place, but l agree that even good  059 kids can do bad  074 things.
