Relax guys... the 12 and under thing applies to the B&B side... they have other places here... http://www.thecastlevillas.com/Also, they aren't booked that weekend AT ALL right now, so I'm sure we could push for it with a large group booking, rules be damned. Like I said before, the only bad thing is it's not pet friendly for our friends that want/need to bring animals. What do you guys think of this place: http://www.blackbeardslodge.com/pet and kid friendly, and definitely cheaper. Keep the chat up guys... good stuff. |

If we're doing a weekend thing do we have to stay on Ocracoke? Can we make Ocracoke a full day adventure from say Buxton, Frisco, or Hatteras? That would give more lodging options? Either way we're easy - no pets - kid's over 12.  Remember the days it was not that way though.  |

Yep, we have to stay in Ocracoke.  he he Actually, we don't have to...but really, I wanted to be really close to everything while we're down there... focused on relaxing, less on traveling while in theater. |

Hey everyone, welcome back to this thread!
I've been crazy busy with work and home life and kind of stalled on this. I need to know definitively who wants to go on April 11th, so we can book a place. If you MUST have pets along, please say so, so we can get into a pet friendly place. I need definitive answers by Monday, so I can get rooms locked down for interested parties.
So Deb and I are in with 4 people (and 2 cars)...

Yeah, funding has fallen through for Deb and I after a short review this week. I think we'll back burner this until some other day, perhaps off season late summer. Keep it in mind everyone... it's no real driving trip, but it sure could be a nice place to relax doing practically nothing for 2 days straight.
