I remember reading somewhere that there would be a caravan leaving from the Hardee's in Suffolk but for the life of me, I can't find it!  My vacation time from work starts on Tuesday the 29th and I booked my room starting on Tuesday the 29th.  I plan to leave the morning of the 29th.  When are you leaving?  icon_biggrin

We're leaving with the caravan that is meeting at Suffolk Hardees.  It leaves on morning of the day when the Welcome Dinner happens (Wednesday) at o'dark thirty.  Don (MNI LIMO) heads that up.

Hmm...  I'd love to be a part of the caravan and maybe Tuesday or the preceeding weekend will be nice enough that I'll have a chance to detail Tug out and wax him.  From what I've read, it's about an 8 hour drive from here to Fontana, right?

Trust me, I know what O-dark thirty is.  080  I automatically sit up in bed at O-dark thirty every morning including on the weekends...  dammit.   I've turned into my father!  119  087

026 Count Sky and myself in for this year MOTD. This will be our first time going, so everything is new to us. We plan on departing Newportnews  area  on the 29th since my vacation starts on the 30th. 045 045 We haven't decided exactly what time frame we want to leave as of yet. Is there anyone else leaving late on the 29th?

After re-reading my confirmation letter from Fontana Village, I think I'm actually going to leave here at around 0300 Tuesday morning.  My reservation starts Tuesday the 29th and check in begins at 1600. That will leave me some wiggle room for side excursions and sitting at a table to eat rather than eating while driving. I did enough of that in the 15 years that I drove trucks for a living!
